It can be quite scary when you find yourself looking on a page like this, daunting and maybe intimidating. I have been there too. Feeling small, broken, ashamed and nervous about what may or maynot come out of my mouth. Will I feel comfortable sharing my inner world? Will I cry? Am I ready?
Sometimes those questions are less about what might happen in therapy, and more about what has been weighing on you for some time. You may be feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult point in your life, or trying to make sense of a past experience that still feels very present in your day to day life.
Baby steps, you got this far, and that is a big achievement already. Deep inhale, pause and breath. You can do this.
